Operation Embrace Emergency Assistance to Residents of Sderot 2007

Operation Embrace has distributed close to $100,000 to assist the residents of Sderot.  Sderot is located only 5 miles from the Gaza strip.  There are 24,000 people who live in Sderot and the population is made up of a variety of cultures.  Kassam rockets are falling daily and Operation Embrace is working with city officials and mental health professionals on a daily basis in order to better assist the residents. 

Molly

Molly is married to Yehuda and is pictured above with two of her three sons.  The picture below shows the damage incurred by a Kassam rocket to their home.  Luckily, Molly and her family arrived minutes after the rocket fell and destroyed their home.  They lost all of their belongings.  Operation Embrace representatives have visited this family numerous times providing them with financial assistance, new beds, clothing and toys.
